About Luke
I build across the whole pathbecause the problem rarely stays in one lane.
I'm Luke, founder of ELJEE. I work directly across systems, websites, marketing and software so each part can support how the business runs.
The standard is useful work that holds together.
I build things for the satisfaction of a great result, visually and functionally. That thread runs through everything here, from a homepage to a delivery workflow.
The work starts with the problem, not the tool. Then it connects what customers see to how the team works, because those two things fail together far more often than they fail alone.
The story so far
The disciplines grew around the problems in front of me.
- 2012
Creative practice
3D design, video editing and Photoshop from age 13. After Effects and Cinema 4D late at night, edits and renders made for people for free, because making the thing was the point. Music production followed at 16.
- 2018
Early business experiments
Four or five Shopify brands at 19. None of them succeeded. All of them taught something about offers, stores and what selling takes.
- 2020
Client and campaign work
Graphic design and marketing for a Muay Thai gym, then about a year and a half running outreach, ads and campaigns for a local coding school. That is where the habit formed of recursively solving the most important problem in front of you.
- 2021
Operational perspective
Started at Hartleys in the warehouse. Saw first-hand how stock, deliveries and admin behave when the system behind them leaks.
- 2022
Programming foundations
Passed Harvard's CS50. Proper programming fundamentals underneath the design and marketing work.
- 2024
ELJEE
Went all-in on business, marketing and design. Everything before this turned out to be preparation.
A website, a workflow and a campaign are parts of the same system.
Enquiry context, quotes, stock, delivery, follow-up and reporting should describe one operation. That is the lens every project gets looked at through.
Enquiry
Capture the useful context once.
Work
Move quoting, stock and delivery together.
Follow-up
Keep people and next actions visible.
Reporting
See the state of the operation clearly.
Working together
You work directly with me.
The person who scopes the work designs it, the person who designs it builds it, and the person who builds it answers for how it runs.
That keeps the work honest. No account managers, no handovers between departments, no gap between what was promised and what was understood.
Tell Luke what is not working together.
Send through the part of the business that feels stitched together.
